Many of The Arc’s respite camping opportunities take place at Camp Sertoma, a 69 acre facility just outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. For more than 50 years, Camp Sertoma has provided high-quality, fun and active camp experiences for people of all ages with intellectual disabilities, as well as important respite time for their families and caregivers. Weekend and Overnight Camps
When summer camp is not in session, The Arc offers weekend overnight camping experiences for campers of all ages. Held at the heated and air conditioned, Harsco Lodge, weekend camps provide year round fun. Weekend camps span from Friday evenings to Sunday afternoons, and focus on holiday or seasonally themed subjects. There are two different types of weekend camps, one for individuals with waiver funding, and one for individuals without any funding.
